Enable the new Gmail User Interface
Major improvements to Gmail that will help you be more productive at work.
Email is a necessity for most of us. We use it to stay in touch with colleagues and friends, schedule meetings, keep up with the latest news, manage to-dos at home or at work—we just can’t live without it. Here’s a quick look at how to do more, faster.
Hover over an email and quickly take action without opening it.
Click on attachments (like photos) without opening or scrolling through large conversations; use the new snooze button to put off emails that you can’t get to right now or easily access other apps you use often, like Google Calendar, Tasks and Keep.
Gmail now helps you to keep track of emails.
Most of us sometimes forget to reply to an email or lose track of conversations.
The new Gmail will remind you of old emails that need action by placing them at the top of your inbox - with a suggestion to reply or to follow up.
Save time with Smart Reply.
One click reply to emails. The Smart Reply feature suggests three responses based on the email you received: you can send immediately or edit the message first. A big time saver for repetitive replies.
Get rid of inbox clutter.
Gmail will now offer suggestions to unsubscribe from newsletters or offers you no longer care about.
Steps to enable the new Gmail user interface.
You can start using the new Gmail today, simply go to Settings (click the gear icon) in the top right corner of your Gmail inbox and select “Try the new Gmail.” (You can switch back by selecting “Go back to classic Gmail.”)
Contact us for assistance if the option to switch to the new Gmail user interface is not available on your domain.
