What's included

One tier. Everything a business needs on its devices.

ESET sells business protection in several tiers. For South African businesses we've settled on one, ESET PROTECT Advanced. It covers the devices, the data on them and the unknown files that land in the inbox, at one price per user.

Every device covered

Windows, Mac and Linux computers, Android phones and your servers, with phishing protection and control over USB sticks built in.

Unknown files checked before they open

A file nobody has seen before is opened safely in ESET's cloud first, before it can run on your machine. That's how brand-new ransomware gets stopped. ESET calls it LiveGuard Advanced.

Ransomware stopped, and undone

ESET blocks ransomware the moment it starts behaving like ransomware. If anything slips through, it rolls the affected files back.

Full disk encryption

Windows and macOS laptops encrypted and managed from the console, so a lost laptop doesn't become a data leak. It also helps you meet POPIA's duty to safeguard personal information.

Phones and tablets

Android phones protected, and iPhones and iPads managed from the same console.

One console for everything

See every device in one place: what's protected, what was stopped and what's installed, with reports when you need them. The console itself needs more than a password to open.

How it works

We supply and set up. ESET protects. We're here when you need us.

You don't need a security team to run ESET PROTECT Advanced. We put the licences on your cozan invoice, get the console and the first devices set up with you, and after that the console mostly runs itself. When something needs a human, that's us.

What we do

  • Licences on your monthly cozan invoice, in rands
  • Console and first devices set up with you
  • Users added and removed as your team changes
  • Help when you need it: a new laptop, an alert you're not sure about, a question
  • Support in English or Afrikaans, from people who know your setup

What the console does on its own

  • Protection locked on, so nobody can switch it off
  • You're told the moment something needs a look
  • Routine jobs, like scans and removing unapproved software, run on their own

Protected platforms

  • Windows
  • macOS
  • Linux
  • Android

iPhones and iPads are managed from the same console.

In practice

What happens when something happens.

Four everyday situations, and what ESET PROTECT Advanced does about each one.

The situation

Someone opens an email carrying a brand-new strain of ransomware.

What happens

The console notifies you the moment ESET flags it. A single click scans the machine and sends the file to ESET's cloud for checking, and once the threat is contained the console clears its own warnings. If anything was encrypted before it was stopped, ESET rolls it back. Not sure what you're looking at? Forward us the alert.

The situation

A laptop goes missing at the airport.

What happens

The disk is encrypted and the recovery key sits in the console, not on the laptop. Whoever has the machine doesn't have your data. Retire it in the console, and we move the licence to the replacement.

The situation

Someone installs software they shouldn't have.

What happens

You set a rule in the console for software that isn't allowed. The moment a machine has it, the console tells you, removes it on its own and shows the user a message explaining why. Ask us if you'd like help setting the rule up.

The situation

You need to know what's on every machine.

What happens

Every computer's record lists installed software with version numbers, plus the hardware: make, model, serial number, processor, RAM and disk. When it's time to budget for replacements, the report is one click away.

Better together with Google Workspace

Pair ESET on your devices with Workspace security and spoofing protection on your domain, and you're covered from inbox to laptop.

ESET questions

Why do you only sell one ESET tier?

Because it's the one that fits. ESET PROTECT Advanced covers the devices, the data on them and the unknown files that arrive by email, which is how most businesses get hit. One tier means one price, no comparison table and nothing to work out before you're protected.

Do you manage it for us?

We supply the licences, help you set up the console and get the first devices enrolled, and we're there when you need us: a new laptop, an alert you're not sure about, someone joining or leaving. Day to day, the console runs itself, and you or your IT person keep an eye on it.

What does one user cover?

A user's laptop, desktop and phone. Tell us how many servers you have when you sign up and we'll confirm the count on our call.

We already have antivirus. Why change?

Antivirus on its own protects one machine and tells nobody when it fails. With ESET PROTECT, every device reports to one place, nobody can switch protection off, and checking unknown files and encrypting laptops come included. And you buy it from a local partner who knows your setup.

Can staff switch it off?

No. Policies are set from the console and locked on the device, so a user can't disable protection or change the settings. The console shows you which devices last reported in, and when.

Does it work with Google Workspace?

Yes, and they belong together. ESET looks after the devices; Workspace security looks after the accounts, email and files. Pair them and you're covered from inbox to laptop.
