Introducing the new integrated Gmail
The new Gmail layout brings Mail, Chat, Spaces and Meet into one window, so you can stay on top of what's important without switching tabs.

From 11 February 2022, users can opt in to test the new Gmail experience.
When enabled, the new navigation menu lets you switch easily between your inbox, important conversations and meetings without switching tabs or opening a new window.
Notification bubbles make it easy to stay on top of what needs your attention. When working in Chat and Spaces, the new interface shows a full list of conversations and Spaces on a single screen, making them easier to find and engage with.
In the coming months, email and chat results will also be available through the search bar, making it easier to find what you need without switching context.
By the end of Q2 2022, this will become the standard Gmail experience.
How to opt in to the new view
Important: to use the new view, you must turn on Chat in Gmail and set Chat to the left-hand panel.
- At the top right, click Settings.
- Under “Quick settings”, click Try out the new Gmail view.
- In the new window, click Reload.
If your Google Workspace account is not managed by our team, you can transfer your services and billing into our care with your unique transfer token. Ask your domain administrator to generate a token in the Admin console using our public identifier, C03perv36, and forward the code to helpdesk@cozan.co.za.
